What Formuradar keeps about your visit, why, and how to opt out. Last updated: 16 October 2026.
- There are no ads, no subscriptions, no selling of data and no user accounts.
- We do not store your IP address. We use it at the moment the visit arrives (for the approximate country and city and for a daily code) and discard it.
- We do not follow you from one day to the next: the code we use to count distinct visitors changes every day and cannot be reversed into your IP.
- We use no advertising or tracking cookies and no browser fingerprints.
We measure the site with our own analytics (no third-party services) to know which pages are used, improve the site and tell people apart from the bots that crawl it. For each visit we keep:
- The pages you view, the time and how long you stay, and the key buttons you press.
- Where you come from (only the domain of the referring site and the utm_* tags of the link, if any).
- Approximate location at city level (country, region, city), provided by the hosting provider from the IP.
- Device and browser: device type, system, browser and version, language, time zone, screen and window size, whether it is touch, and connection type.
- Technical data to detect bots: the graphics card the browser reports (WebGL), cores and memory, whether the browser is automated, and a few request headers.
- The reverse-DNS domain of your IP (for example your ISP's or a server provider's), looked up with the hosting provider's DNS service when the visit starts. We store only the domain, never the IP.
- How you interact with the page, only as counters: mouse movements, scrolls, key presses, touches and time to first interaction. We do not record which keys you press or where you click.
- A random visit identifier, kept in the tab's memory (sessionStorage) and renewed after 30 minutes of inactivity. It does not identify you outside that visit.
- A functional cookie with your language (Spanish or English) and, for the site's administrator, a session cookie. They are not used to follow you.
- Preferences in your browser: whether you dismissed the install-app prompt and, if you enable it, the analytics opt-out.
- Some weather maps (Windy) load from their own server and may apply their own terms.
We use this data to measure site usage, detect abuse (bots that crawl pages and raise the cost of running the service) and improve the content. The basis is the controller's legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f GDPR): minimal measurement, without identifying anyone and without sharing it with third parties.
Visits are deleted automatically after 90 days. The site and the data are hosted on US cloud services (Vercel, Railway and Neon). We do not share this data with anyone else.
Open /?notrack=1 once in your browser: a local flag is stored and that visit and later ones stop being recorded. To undo it, open /?notrack=0. Turning on “Do Not Track” or using a script blocker also works, although our measurement is minimal.
Because we store neither your IP nor a permanent identifier, we usually cannot tell which visits are yours. You can still ask us for access, rectification, erasure or objection by writing to the address below; if you can give the approximate date and time of your visit we will look for it and delete what we find. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
